In southern Piedmont, on the left bank of the Tanaro River, lies a corner of paradise dedicated to the culture of wine: the Roero.

The Roero region is born from generous nature and a mild, hilly climate. It bears witness to centuries-old stories and traditions of vine cultivation, is identified with the authenticity, sincerity, and candor of its people and landscape, and is connected to Mother Earth through uncontaminated love and respect.

Here, time beats slowly and calmly; here the colors are vivid and radiant; here, people have succeeded in combining the wisdom of ancient times with the dynamism of the present.

The best of both create a logical continuation of generations that combines art and culture, tourism and nature, gastronomy and winemaking, legend and reality.

THE FAMILY AND THE COMPANY

In Castellinaldo, in the heart of the Roero hills, Monica and Enrico Marsaglia, with the help of their mother Marina, continue to produce high-quality wines with the same passion and commitment that inspired their great-grandfather Secondo Marsaglia, the company's founder.

The company currently extends across sixteen hectares of vineyards, mostly facing south.

Monica and Enrico's philosophy is that the quality of the wine is achieved in the vineyard.

Technical assistance extends to all stages of cultivation, from dry to green pruning, to ensure balanced treatments following controlled and integrated pest management techniques.

Production is controlled by thinning the bunches when excess buds appear.

We vinify perfectly healthy grapes, harvested by hand at the optimum time.

The winery, equipped with all modern technologies, remains faithful to the most traditional winemaking processes.

Bottling takes place only after a maturation period that varies from a minimum of six months for the Roero Arneis, up to more than 24 months for the reds aged in oak barrels.

Monica and Marina open their cellar to all wine enthusiasts.

Guests are welcomed with warmth and professionalism in the renovated tasting room, where they are delighted to sample wines accompanied by a traditional country snack.
