Chateau d'Esther

The vineyard was converted to organic 30 years ago and has been planted with over 250 fruit trees around the property. They have also integrated 200 bird boxes and carefully manage cover crops and wild flowers to provide an amazing habitat for the wildlife they promote. All vine work is done by hand and in Chateau d’Esther they try to utilise wild herb infusions to ensure healthy vine growth rather than use chemical sprays. In the winery they work to minimise intervention. Relying on spontaneous fermentation, adding nothing more than a little So2 to ensure a quality product and ensure they deliver a true taste of our terroir. Chateau d’Esther create expressive modern style Bordeaux wines that are ready to drink now or be saved for a special occasion.
