Château Charmail

Château Charmail lies in the heart of Saint Seurin de Cadourne, a village long admired for its remarkable terroirs and sweeping views of the Gironde River. Led by the Goudet-Liquard family and Bernard d’Halluin, the estate has embraced a modern, human approach to Bordeaux. Winemaker Sébastien Pineau, a friend and now partner, works alongside the family to cultivate the vineyards organically and harvest by hand. In the cellar, natural fermentations, 500L demi-muids, and concrete eggs, unusual for the region, allow each plot to express its character with precision and depth. With its refined distribution network and spirit of curiosity, Charmail continues to shape a more open, thoughtful vision of Bordeaux.
