About us
The story of the Dezi family wine growing began with Romolo and Remo, no, not the sons of the famous queen Silvia, but two simple farmers sons born and raised in Servigliano. They lived together in a house. Romolo married and shortly thereafter brought two sons into the world, Davide and Stefano determined to change the history of the winery. Through hard work and passion, in the vineyards and the wine cellars they transformed a relatively small family winery into a winery producing wine of the finest quality. In the mid-eighties Davide and Stefano entered fully into the management of the business introducing agronomic and oenological practices aimed at further improving quality. High intensity vineyards are planted and cultivation practices are introduced, such as short pruning, thin out the excess bunches and manual harvesting with further quality control, which have significantly increased the properties of the grapes. At the same time, new winemaking technologies are introduced in the winery: soft pressing, temperature control during the production process, barriques for the aging of wines. The spirit and respect for nature has been rewarded. We have won the title “Best wine grower of the year” in “Vini d ´Italia” in 2008. We also especially rewarded ourselves with our two wines “Solo”, a Sangiovese, and “Regina del Bosco”, a pure Montepulciano.
