Clay, Slate

Terroir:

Geography: A single, historic vineyard in Cacabelos (Bierzo), planted in 1906. Soil: A rare combination of stony clay and slate with a high mineral and ferrous (iron) content. Climate: A transitional microclimate that blends Atlantic humidity with Mediterranean sunshine, ensuring balanced ripening and freshness. Growing Conditions: Small-scale viticulture of old-vine Mencía. The vines are low-yielding, producing highly concentrated grapes with a distinct graphite character.
