Soils:: Slate
Terroir:: Location: High-altitude plots in San Lorenzo, Bierzo (600m above sea level). Soil: Steep slate slopes (pizarra) providing deep minerality and salinity. Climate: Atlantic-influenced cool climate with significant day-night temperature swings for slow ripening. Vines: 40 to 60-year-old bush vines with very low yields. Character: A mountain-grown Godello defined by its vibrant acidity, aromatic purity, and lean structure.

Losada Vinos de Finca: The Soul of El Bierzo Discover Losada, an innovative project in Pieros redefining El Bierzo. While others sought slate, we chose ancient clay soils to craft a more elegant, fleshy Mencía. Our philosophy? "Slow winemaking."
