Terroir:
Finca Sanguijuela is about 10km from Ronda, surrounded by the ‘Serrania de Ronda’. The finca has picturesque views over golden fields, wild creeks, oak forests, pastures and ‘La Canada Real’ (an old cattle track) of Málaga-Seville-Jerez. The area benefits from a special microclimate with hot days and cool nights which offer ideal conditions for the production of top quality organic-biodynamic-natural Premium wines, without added sulphites. The finca is located on a plateau at 700m above sea-level, surrounded by the ‘Sierra de Grazalema’ and the ‘Sierra de las Nieves’. These mountain ranges protect us from the strong East and West winds and also guarantee a precipitation of approx. 500 litres per year.
