Terroir:
Our vines grow on ponca soils, rich in marl and sandstone, which give minerality and complexity to our wines. On these hills between Italy and Slovenia, the soils alternate between loose, coarse-grained elements and layers of marl and sandstone. This is the renowned ‘ponca’ a nutrient and mineral-rich mixture interwoven with fragmented layers of rock from the eocene era. This is the uniqueness of our wines.

Winemaker:
MATTIA PETRUSSA
The manual harvest takes place after a slight over-ripening of the grapes, which are then destemmed and delicately pressed. The free-run juice undergoes a slow fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 14°c for about 15 days. following this, a series of bâtonnages are performed to extract its complexity and structure, drawing out its delicate aromas. bottling takes place in April.
