Vinification, winemaker's own words
- Soils:
- Clay
- Terroir:
- The vineyard is in front of the sea, at the top of San Massimo Hill, with east/south-east exposure. We use double Guyot training system to grow the plants. Winds coming from the seaside during the day and from the mountains during the night allow our grapes to fix flavors in the berries and preserve the sapidity.

White winemaking: the grapes are picked by hand and gently pressed by an automatic pneumatic press. The must is cooled down at 10°C for static settling. Fermentation is carried out at 15 degrees using selected yeasts.

Podere Colle San Massimo is a young and dynamic organic farm born in 2008 The estate sits on the most beautiful hill of Giulianova, in the heart of the "Colline Teramane", a territory that combines proximity to the Adriatic Sea with a hilly landscape ideally suited to viticulture. Here the wines describe the history, the traditions, and the people working the soil, telling an ancient story that we strongly want to keep alive.
