Terroir:

The field consists of 27 ha of vines planted on gravelly rises of quaternary which extend near the “Gironde” The average age of the vineyard is 40 years; the oldest pieces go back to 1956.

Hand-harvested fruit from 25–50-year-old vines. Fermented in stainless steel and concrete tanks with temperature control, followed by malolactic fermentation in vat. Aged 12 months in French oak barrels — one-third new, one-third once-used, and one-third twice-used — to preserve purity and finesse.
