Vinification, winemaker's own words
Soils:
Clay, Gravel, Slate
Terroir:
Vines planted in the 40s and 50s of the twentieth century. Controlled area, during 2019: 3 ha divided into 18 plots in 8 different sites. Vineyards located in the Ancares River Valley, an area included in the Biosphere Reserve of Ancares Leoneses. Gobelet or Bush vines. Pruning and crop management focused on vineyard recovery. Average yield of 2,500 kg/ha.

Manual harvest in 15 kg boxes. Fermented in barrels and stainless steel tanks; 40% of the grapes with stems and rest softly destemmed without crushing. Native yeast. Aged for 9 months in 500 and 225 litre barrels. Aged for 12 months in the bottle.
