Terroir:

At La Masseria di Sessa, our vineyards lie on the rolling hills of Sessa Aurunca, overlooking the southern coast and the Gulf of Gaeta. This land, born from the ancient eruption of the Roccamonfina volcano, offers rich, mineral-laden soils that naturally nourish the vines and shape the unique identity of our wines. Thanks to the area’s mild Mediterranean climate—where warm, sunlit days are balanced by cooling sea breezes and significant day-night temperature shifts—our grapes ripen slowly and evenly. This enhances aromatic complexity, preserves natural acidity, and results in healthy, balanced fruit.
