A real geological diversity defines the Château de Gaure and all our white grape vineyards are located at a lower altitude. The diversity between the white grapes is due to the different soil types : - characteristic clay-limestone soils of the Limouxin - the soft loam around the Château - deep clay soils typical of Campagne sur Aude. The typicity of the soils brings complexity, richness and strength to our wines .

Information
Slottet byggdes redan på 1000-talet, men det var på 1700- och 1800-talen som det som det verkligen kom till sin rätt med sina 3.000 kvadratmeter täckt utrymme. Historien om GAURE är också berättelsen om de män och kvinnor som skapade skapade skönheten i denna unika plats och, idag, i dess fantastiska viner. Dess historia fortsätter till denna dag genom namnet på godsets flaggskeppsvin, "Le Château".
