Terre di Perseto

Terre di Perseto's wines express the history of a traditional craftsmanship and family work and are characterized by elegance, complexity, aromatic richness and extreme pleasantness on the palate. We are two young brothers, Niccolò and Daniel Martelli, with an innate passion for our land of Tuscany. In our eyes, you may read our love for the Chianti land and for things done well, as well as pride and resilience. We are the ones who give the name of a father or of a grand-father to a wine or to an oil, because we keep the family tight around our heart, because it is the strong root that is the basis of everything we do. We are the ones who have never been to the Maldives (and we don't even care) because we already have our perfect island. And, perhaps, we do not know much about the world but we know each stone that is on our land. We are the ones who have an innate wine culture, which flows within our blood like an additional piece of DNA. We are the ones who know that the earth can be benign but that it is also capricious and bears good fruit only when it is treated well. We are those whose cellars or mills were not designed by archistars, whose machinery is not hyper-technological, and yet, coincidentally, we produce wines and EVO oils that are very good all the same, and often our wines and EVO oils win prizes or awards as well. We are visionaries, dreamers, daring Davids in the midst of so many giant Goliaths. And in the slingshot, instead of the stone, we put all our passion.
