Terroir:
Village blend of 2 century old vineyards. Los Pinos is a North facing hill on clay soil co-plantated in 1910 with a field blend of 90% Mencía 10% Palomino. Valdeobispo is a South facing hill on clay and sandy soils planted in 1903 with Mencia. Bush vines, dry farmed, regenerative organic farming, natural green cover, no tillage.

Village blend of 2 century old vineyards. North facing hill wine is fermented with destemmed grapes and aged in used French oak 50 Hl vats. South facing hill wine is fermented with 50% whole bunch 50% destemmed grapes in used French oak 50 Hl vats and aged in 225 and 500 l used French oak barrels. Coupage is made after aging. Spontaneous fermentation, only addition of sulphites. No stabilization, light filtration at bottling.

Cantariña ist ein kleines Familienweingut in der DO Bierzo, im grünen Nordwesten Spaniens. Wir bewirtschaften unsere familiären Weinberge mit regenerativem ökologischem Weinbau und respektieren das Ökosystem und die Böden, um eine Reihe von Terroir-geprägten Weinen aus unseren lokalen Rebsorten zu produzieren.
