Azienda Agricola Mori Concetta di Massimo Becattelli

Azienda Agricola Mori Concetta is located in San Casciano in
Val di Pesa and covers approximately 2.2 hectares—1 hectare
of olive grove and 1.2 hectares of vineyard. The vineyard
surface is just under 1.2 hectares, and the number of bottles
produced is extremely limited. This is an exclusive, small-scale production, meticulously crafted for a select group of wine
connoisseurs.
Grapes are harvested strictly by hand, with careful
selection of each cluster. Vinification is carried out separately
for each grape variety in stainless steel tanks for 12–18 days.
This is followed by aging in neutral (third-passage or older)
barriques for 12–14 months.
At this stage, with the support of the consulting oenologist,
the final blend is created based on the characteristics of the
specific vintage. Bottling is also carried out manually.
The winery produces exclusively organic Chianti Classico
DOCG using selected indigenous grape varieties. Vines
are planted manually, taking into account the specific
characteristics of the soil to ensure the highest quality.
Production combines traditional methods with modern
technologies. Winemaking was guided by Mario Becattelli, whose extensive experience stems from his role
as head cellar master at the historic Serristori Counts’ winery
in Sant’Andrea in Percussina—once home to the Chianti
Classico Consortium. From year 2023 on the winemaking is guided by Mario's son, Massimo.
The Mori & Becattelli family shares a deep-rooted bond

by the quality of our products, appreciated both locally
and internationally.
