Azienda Agricola “La Grazia” was born from the Oberti family’s long and heartfelt connection to Valtellina. Since settling in the valley in 1919, the family has worked closely with the land and local community, cultivating a deep respect for the territory. Paolo Oberti’s passion for wine began in childhood, and in the 1990s the family acquired their first vineyards from former employees who wished to preserve these historic mountain plots.

In 2012 this passion became a dedicated project: the creation of La Grazia, named in honor of Paolo’s wife Grazia. The family set out to revive heroic mountain viticulture in Tirano, restoring abandoned terraces and preserving traditional methods while embracing thoughtful innovation. In 2013 they expanded their vineyards and introduced Pinot Bianco—rare in Valtellina—giving the winery its own distinctive identity through a unique mountain white wine and a base for classic-method sparkling wines.

Production grew quickly, and in 2016 La Grazia took an important step toward sustainability by planting disease-resistant varieties that thrive without agrochemicals. Today the winery cultivates around 3 hectares, all tended with precision and respect for the landscape.

La Grazia represents the Oberti family’s commitment to quality, tradition, and the land they call home—a project that honors Valtellina’s heritage while opening new possibilities for future generations.
