La Masseria di Sessa

La Masseria di Sessa is a project created by Gianni Imperatore, a brilliant entrepreneur from Naples, who chose to invest in nature by following the principles of organic farming in the flourishing terroir of the Ager Falernum in Sessa Aurunca (CE).
In 2018, Alfredo Russo joined the project, taking on the managerial role with the goal of expanding awareness and distribution of the products, creating synergies with top professionals in the sector, and transforming the estate into an internationally oriented reality.
At the heart of the company’s vision is the restoration of the relationship between Nature and Humanity. For this reason, the estate has developed a vineyard as part of a hospitality project offering a full educational and sensory immersion.
In line with the natural production principles of La Masseria di Sessa, which covers a total area of 20 hectares, the organic wine produced is the result of a meticulous process—from the use of organic soil amendments derived from on-site compost, to technologies that blend ancient methods with a highly modern natural inert-gas pressing technique for extracting the must, allowing for reduced—and in some wines, completely eliminated—use of sulfur dioxide.
