Poderi Moretti

Rooted in centuries of tradition, our estate was born from the union of two historic Monteu Roero families—Moretti and Occhetti—both dedicated to caring for the land since the early 1600s. Today, Francesco Moretti and his children, Alessandra and Riccardo, manage 40 hectares with deep respect for nature and the surrounding environment.

Recognized as a Historical Company of Italy, we proudly carry forward the values and experience passed down through generations. Our winemaking combines traditional methods with thoughtful innovation, allowing our wines to mature in steel sur lies or oak and evolve beautifully over time.

We follow environmentally sustainable farming practices, using natural products in both vineyard and cellar.

Our home, Roero—also known as Bassa Langa—is a unique landscape of gentle hills, ancient villages, vineyards, orchards, and wild ravines known as the Rocche del Roero, shaped by geological forces over millennia. This remarkable terroir brings elegance, finesse, and identity to every wine we produce.
