ALEMAT is more than a name—it’s the essence of who we are

and the philosophy that inspires every bottle we produce.

Our roots run deep in Piedmont, a land we proudly call our

own. From our local dialect comes the word ALEMAT, meaning

“He’s crazy!”

—a playful nod to the bold spirit that pushed us to

enter the world of wine from scratch. Some might call it

madness; we call it passion. Because we believe that a hint of

daring makes life richer and turns ambitious dreams into

reality.

The name ALEMAT also carries the initials of our sons,

Alessandro and Matteo. For us, family is everything—a source

of strength, inspiration, and purpose. It grounds our present

and guides our vision for tomorrow. Our work cannot be

separated from this value: family is our heart, and our children

remind us every day why we strive for excellence.

We proudly define ourselves as “winemakers by choice.

” We

don’t rely on distant traditions or inherited vineyards. Instead,

we embrace the challenge, knowing that dedication, integrity,

and respect for the land are what truly create outstanding

wine. The vineyard is our compass, and from it, the quality of
