A Friendship Rooted in Wine and Tradition

Alessio Giampoletti and Emanuele Bonci have shared a lifelong bond. Both born in 1986 and raised in Cupramontana—the “City of Verdicchio” in Italy’s Marche region—they met at age six and quickly became inseparable. Even when Emanuele’s family moved to Jesi, the friendship endured. They later reunited at university, studied abroad together, and eventually built successful professional and family lives. Along the way, a shared dream took shape: EBAG.

Two Paths, One Passion

Alessio, with a master’s degree in Business and Management, grew up on his family’s farm, surrounded by rolling fields of wheat, sunflowers, olive groves, and vineyards. Nature and agriculture have always been part of his identity.

Emanuele, holding a degree in Economics and Marketing, has always been driven by curiosity, travel, and photography. His winemaking story began as a child, hand-pressing grapes in his grandfather’s warehouse. Alessio’s father—then a winemaker—fondly nicknamed him Il Cantiniere (“the cellar man”), a title that still follows him today. For Emanuele, returning home from a trip means reconnecting with his roots; making wine is not just a profession but a calling.

A Mission for the Future

EBAG was created to honor the traditions of their homeland while shaping a sustainable future. Alessio and Emanuele are committed to crafting wines that reflect the spirit of their territory and to building a business future generations can be proud of.

Their journey is one of friendship, heritage, and a shared desire to bottle the emotions and stories of their land.
