Lidia & Amato

The vineyards of Controguerra lie between the Adriatic Sea and the Gran Sasso mountains. This interplay of sea breezes, cooler mountain air and clay-limestone soils shapes the wines. Lidia Tavoletti and Amato founded the named project in 2003, building on generations of family winegrowing. The Di Florio family has continued the work, retaining Lidia's name and its connection to the place. Their approach puts careful vineyard and cellar work alongside protection of the surrounding landscape.
