Casa Rojo Bodega y Viñedos produces 14 high-end wines in Spain, specifically in two of the country’s renowned winemaking regions. Seven of these wines are crafted in the Duero River Valley, under the D.O. Ribera del Duero and D.O. Rueda designations, while the other seven come from Paraje de La Raja, a picturesque mountainous valley in the highlands of the Murcia region near Alicante, influenced by the Mediterranean climate. The technical team leading this revolutionary winemaking project, which has transformed the Spanish wine scene over the past decade, consists of six oenologists: Laura Rojo, José Luis Gómez, Alfonso Verdú, Pablo Mompeán, Ernesto Peña, and José Lorenzo Tejedor. Additionally, in collaboration with the winemaker Joan Martí, the winery produces a small batch of Cava Brut Blanc de Noir called Moltó Negre, crafted in Penedès.
