About Amoreira da Torre - Paulo Sendin
Mixbox – Frequently asked questions
What is a Mixbox?
A Mixbox is a six-bottle wine selection, built around a theme, region, grape, or wine expert, and shipped directly from the producers themselves. Every Mixbox on Free Grape Society is a way to taste broader, support small wineries, and join a society of people who buy wine on better terms.
Are the wines in a Mixbox tasted before being added?
Yes. Every wine in a Mixbox has been tasted and approved as part of joining Free Grape Society. Independent wine experts on the platform can add their own ratings and reviews on top, so you often see several perspectives on the same bottle. Nothing reaches the Mixbox without being vetted first.
Can I choose the wines in my Mixbox?
It depends on the Mixbox. Some are pre-curated by a wine expert or a producer and shipped as a fixed selection. Others let you build your own six-bottle box from a defined range. The product page for each Mixbox tells you exactly which option applies, so you always know what you're picking.
Why does a Mixbox always contain six bottles?
Six bottles is the format that gives you enough variety to explore different styles without overcommitting, and it matches the standard packing unit used across the European wine trade. That keeps shipping efficient and prices fair. Every Mixbox on Free Grape Society is six bottles, no exceptions.
How is a Mixbox delivered?
A Mixbox is shipped directly from the producer to your home in a single tracked shipment. There is no warehouse step in between. The wine leaves the cellar and arrives at your door. Delivery time depends on the producer's location and your market, and is shown on the product page.
Where do the wines in a Mixbox come from?
The wines in a Mixbox come directly from small-scale, independent wine producers across Europe. Each bottle ships from the winery itself, never from a central warehouse or middleman. You're buying directly from the people who made the wine, which is one of the founding principles of the society.
What's included in the price of a Mixbox?
The price you see on a Mixbox is the full price. Taxes, VAT, and shipping are all included, so what you see at checkout is what you pay. Because every Mixbox ships directly from the producer with no warehouse step, there are no hidden markups along the way.
Can a wine expert help me pick the right Mixbox?
Yes. Independent wine experts on Free Grape Society can recommend a Mixbox based on your taste profile or the occasion. You can browse their profiles, see what they've curated, and ask them a question directly. Their advice is free, and they are a core part of the society.
How do I get personal wine recommendations on Free Grape Society?
You can get personal wine recommendations by following an independent wine expert on Free Grape Society or by asking them a direct question through their profile. Experts match you based on your taste, so the advice feels personal, not generic. Join the society to start getting recommendations that fit how you actually drink.
