Contrà Soarda is a family‑owned organic winery and agritourism estate nestled on the volcanic hills at the foothills of the Asiago Plateau, in Bassano del Grappa in Veneto, Italy. The name Contrà Soarda - meaning on the slope in local toponymy - reflects its picturesque hillside location where vineyards benefit from exceptional terroir shaped by volcanic soils, strong diurnal temperature shifts, cool breezes from the Valsugana Valley, and ample sun exposure, all contributing to expressive, mineral‑driven wines.

Founded in 1999 by Mirco and Gloria Gottardi on land with a family history of agriculture and hospitality dating back to 1904, the estate has grown into a vibrant viticultural reality carried forward today by the second generation, with the children Marcello and Eleonora. Contrà Soarda’s philosophy emphasizes respect for the land, biodiversity, and authentic expression of place. The vineyards are managed with organic and biodynamic‑inspired practices that enhance soil health and vine resilience. Soil composition and microclimate are central to their approach, and the winery listens closely to the rhythms and messages of the land in every aspect of cultivation and winemaking. A standout feature of the property is its bio‑architectural winery, where modern design harmonizes with natural surroundings, reflecting the estate’s commitment to sustainability and aesthetics.

Contrà Soarda produces a diverse portfolio of wines - from crisp whites to elegant reds - focusing on both indigenous varieties such as Vespaiola and Marzemino Nero, as well as complementary international grapes, like Pinot Noir, Merlot and Carmenere. The estate also offers wine experiences, tastings, and hospitality, where local cuisine and wines are paired in a convivial setting.
