Nic Tartaglia

We grew up as a farm, in a small town called Alanno (Pescara), in Abruzzo. The farm is located 350 meters above sea level, between the Adriatic Sea and the main mountains of the Appenini range (the Gran Sasso d’Italia and the Majella) all of them within a half hour drive.
The winery was born in 2015 but the lands and vineyards have been handed down from father to son for 5 generations. Our production ranges from Entry Level wines (only indigenous grapes: Pecorino, Trebbiano Abruzzese, Montepulciano) vinified in steel, to Premium productions vinified in steel but aged in barrels (used french oak barriques), a Montepulciano Riserva and two international wines, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. The company has a vineyard extension of 12 hectares, with ages ranging from 46 to 8 years. Clayey, chalky soils increase minerality and freshness which we then find throughout the production. All our wines are all processed in purity, without any kind of blend. In a few years there will also be a production of Italian Riesling. We manage the vineyards with integrated defense, combined with family traditions (lunar cycles for example) and above all, we strongly feel responsibility towards the customer and Nature but also ourselves, as we are the first consumers of the product. We are proud of our job. Our priority is the quality of the product, combined with a modern and captivating packaging, but still tied to tradition. Our marketing lever, on the other hand, is our face: we are directly involved in every phase, from grape cultivation to sale. Sculptors of wine, partners of Nature
