About us
At our small, family run winery in Piedmont, everything begins with the soil. we are a husband-and-wife team united by a deep love for wine and the land that shapes it. Our work is grounded in sustainable farming, with a strong focus on building healthy, balanced soils through cover crops, composting, and minimal intervention. We believe that a vibrant ecosystem in the vineyards is essential to producing wines of depth, honestly , and longevity. Alongside our sustainable practices, we've also begun experimenting with regenerative methods-an ongoing journey towards greater harmony with nature. Our story is a much a part of our wines as the vines themselves. Gianni, found his passion for wine, alongside his grandfather in their family vineyards. As a seasoned winemaker, he spent years working with some of the Langhe's most celebrated producers, honing his craft in the heart of Barolo and Barbaresco. Amanda came from the United States, where she studied and worked as a sommelier, always drawn to the elegance and soul of Nebbiolo. A love for this grape brought her to Italy and that is when she met Gianni. Our winery is the meeting point of two life paths, shaped by experience, passion, and shared vision of creating wines that are both deeply rooted and uniquely our own. In the cellar, we allow the wines to tell their own story. All fermentation is spontaneous with native yeasts, respecting the natural pace and character of each varietal. We age our wines in used oak barrels to allow gentile development without overpowering the fruit. maintaining a clear expression of terroir and grape. Our Nebbiolo grows just outside the official Barbaresco zone, on the same calcareous limestone and sandy soils that define its most prestigious vineyards. This project is a labor of love, a fusion of tradition and personal freedom, where we're finally able to express our own interpretation of Piemonte's native varietals, guided by experience and inspired by the land we call home.
