About us
At the Domaine de Bel Air winery, Jean-Louis Loup, a third generation winemaker, cultivates his 13 hectares of vines with respect and passion. Respect for the terroir, careful selection of the old vines, traditional methods of maceration are vinification are key. Each plot on the vineyard is unique and develops it's own flavour profile. The wines are certified organic since 2021. The valleys of Chinon provide a mix of gravelly plains and chalky-clay hillsides which allow Cabernet Franc to thrive.
