About us

Maison Criner Estevan is a young, family-driven wine estate rooted in Seyssuel, in the heart of the Northern Rhône Valley. Founded in 2019 by the Criner and Estevan families, the domaine was born from a shared vision: to reveal the true expression of exceptional terroirs through thoughtful, organic viticulture and precise winemaking.

The vineyards, planted from 2020 on steep slopes of schist and quartz-rich soils, are cultivated with great care and respect for natural balance. The first harvest took place in 2022, leading to the release of the estate’s first wines in 2023. Today, the domaine spans around 3.5 hectares, including parcels in IGP Collines Rhodaniennes and AOP Saint-Joseph.

Winemaker Elio Estevan, trained alongside renowned Northern Rhône producers, brings a sensitive and rigorous approach both in the vineyard and in the cellar. From classic Rhône varieties such as Syrah and Viognier to more confidential grapes like Dureza, each wine is crafted to preserve freshness, purity, and the identity of its origin.

Maison Criner Estevan produces sincere, vibrant wines that combine elegance, depth, and emotion—true reflections of their terroir and of a family commitment to quality, authenticity, and time.
