San Pedro de Olleros is a tiny village 750 m in the Ancares River Valley, located in mountain area in El Bierzo (León - Castilla y León).

I arrived for the first time at El Bierzo in 2009 to work in other winery, i spent four years working there and i had the opportunity to get to know the region and it was when i found San Pedro de Olleros and i fell in love with the area.

l summarized that the origin and the reason to be of this personal project has been and it is the recovery of these old vines in this village which, in spite of belongs to Bierzo region, it is a somewhat forgotten area. These vineyard were about to be abandoned due to the non-existent generational change.

During this eight years cultivating Mencia, Godello, Palomino Fino, Doña Blanca and other local varieties, the philosophy followed has been that always that a vineyard shows a different and singular character, l bottle it separately, independently of the quantity, even in many cases from a single vineyard l have only one barrel.

At the same time to this philosophy, the Bierzo Denomitaion of Origen decided in 2017 to approve a new regulation for the zoning of plots and their labeling. This approach has led me to have a collection of single vineyards from differents varieties of real tiny quantities.

All wines have been born under three values: are artisan wines, are from local grapes from Ancares Valley and are single vineyard respectfully cultivated of small quantities
