Zanotelli is a family-run winery working since 1860 on the steep, terraced slopes of Valle di Cembra. Here, over 700 km of dry-stone walls support mountain vineyards between 400–900 m. The family farms sustainably and has shifted from historic Schiava production to mainly white wines such as Müller Thurgau, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Kerner, Riesling and Manzoni Bianco, plus Pinot Noir, Lagrein, Trentodoc sparkling wines and a Passito. Valle di Cembra, a historic cradle of Trentino viticulture, is a recognized rural heritage landscape once crossed by Albrecht Dürer in 1494.
