Elegantly spicy and at the same time fragrant hints on the nose. Quince, scattered fruit and meadow herbs combine with ethereal herbal freshness. The hearty saltiness of the Silvaner reflects the Casteller terroir and the fine-grained gypsum keuper. Taut acidity provides support and structure, making this liquid calling card an ideal food companion.

Fürstlich Castell'sche Domäne A wine village that is one of the oldest in Germany, the 26th generation of the princely family and a company bear the same name: Castell. Germany's first Silvaner vines were planted in Castell in 1659. To this day, the local grape variety is at the heart of the winery, which works according to the strict guidelines of the VDP Association of German Prädikat Wine Estates and was one of the pioneers of the first classification in Franconia.
