Vinifikation in den eigenen Worten des Winzers

Böden:

Limestone, Sand

Terroir:

The soils of Roero are primarily sandy and calcareous, often rich in fossils from ancient marine sediments. They are lighter and more porous than the clay-heavy soils of the Langhe, which allows for good drainage and encourages deep root growth. These soils contribute to the region’s wines a distinctive aromatic finesse and freshness, with a delicate minerality.

The harvest is entirely by hand in small red cases. It is one of the first grape varieties to ripen in the Roero area. In recent years, the Arneis harvest has begun at the end of August or the first week of September. Vinification only in stainless steel barrels.
